Northumberland County ladies started in earnest on 27/08/08 with their first practice/trial session at Bullocksteads. 

Although details of the session had been promoted as much as possible around the clubs, RFUW website and even Facebook, there was no guarantee on how many would turn up.

There was no need to worry though, as the 1st and 2nd sessions were both well attended.

Even this early in the season we have still had some setbacks.  Between sessions we have had 2 players go out with injury (broken thumb/ligament damage & broken wrist).

On a good note our congratulations go to Nicole Bradshaw who has been called up for 'Super 4s'
